>A. B. Frost

> I found a very nicely matted and framed print of A. B. Frost’s The Last Match in a frame shop in Parker, CO a few years back. At the time I didn’t know who Frost was, but I loved this print and purchased it without hesitation. What I really appreciate most about this print is the outdoor scenery such as the blow down fence in the back ground and the leafless trees. The dogs resting from a morning of chasing birds in New England Upland Coverts, and the A. H. Fox or “Old Reliable” Parker side by sides resting against the tree.

This print had a bit history associated with it…it was brought in by an older gentleman to be matted and framed. The frame shop had done numerous prints for this fellow in the past, but he never returned to pick up his framed print when it was finished. The gentleman prepaid for the work…he never returned any of the stores attempts to contact him. I bought the print 2 years after it was dropped off. This print is one of my most prized possessions.

    >My favorite Frost is, Shoot: Shoot: Man: Why Don’t You Shoot? Which coincidently is what the dog, I’m sure is constantly thinking!
