The Backcountry Journal

Here’s a link to my brother Andy’s (the poet who’s about to release his very first book–can’t wait!) article on The Backcountry Journal about one of our incredible days this past October 2011 in Idaho chasing valley quail and huns.  Not to steal Andy’s thunder, but it was a very special day for me too…Gretchen had an amazing point on some quail above the creek bottom where Andy was in the thick of em…when the birds got up, I got a true mixed double on a hen valley quail and a hungarian pat.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.  Enjoy your family and friends and most of all your beloved bird dogs!
