In my mind, there is nothing better than starting a morning in the uplands while watching the sunrise. You never know what the day will bring, but you always hope for the best. That is not unlike the anticipation and hope you feel when you get a new puppy.With that thought in mind, meet the newest member of my family, “Misty Morning Sunrise.”
Misty Morning Sunrise.
Misty is named after one of my favorite days of quail hunting with Shawn in western Idaho a few years back, when a thick mist drifted up the canyon with the most glorious sunrise as the backdrop. I’m sure Shawn knows exactly what I’m talking about.
Like I said, the view was spectacular that early October morning.

I've commented above but have one added question: What does Sunny think about all this?
Walter, Sunny acts a little confused by this crazy puppy. Surprisingly, she has been very patient and gentle with her as the puppy runs beside her and bites her on the flanks. Sunny will give her a little growl and a nip, but nothing more. Hopefully, when the puppy matures some, they will become the best of friends.
