> I was reading a thread on the Utah Bird Dogs Forum (http://www.utahbirddogs.com/forum) which is a great site with some excellent contributors) this morning about a father taking his son Bluegill fishing in Kansas. This print reminds me of when my father introduced me to shotgunning when I was about 5 or 6 years old! I’m very grateful for my father passing on his enthusiasm and love for the outdoors! Without him as a mentor, where would my passion/obsessions be? Thanks Dad!
>Dads are the best. I could be a little prejudice but I think I’ve got the best! On my grave marker I want it to simply read… Gentleman, Wingshooter and DAD!
>Chet…very well said!
>Shawn,I have a very similar Rockwell print with the same Dad, son and setter except that they are holding a fly rod! Its 24 x 36framed and hangs in my den.Tops on my “bucket list” is to share the outdoors with my son. The first week of August I’m coming to Denver where he lives and we’re heading to West Yellowstone to fish the Madison and Gallatin. So thank your Dad but remember to share it with your children too.Dale
